The penalty shot was made by Arnoldo Ignazio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of lob del alma's Teo Igon. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Tapebicuá's Gaudencio Maldonado got a free kick in the 10th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Tapebicuá's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Maura came free, but Alberto Lucian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teo Igon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Loi, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, lob del alma's Fermin Tabor got a free kick in the 20th minute. Alberto Lucian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carolo Haitz in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in lob del alma's zone, Virgilio Loi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Igon came out of the goal and Virgilio Loi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Virgilio Loi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Teo Igon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgilio Loi in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teo Igon saved lob del alma from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fermin Tabor to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Fermin Tabor notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Tapebicuá's Alberto Lucian. Alberto Lucian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Virgilio Loi might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teo Igon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Virgilio Loi ran back to his position shaking his head. Carolo Haitz got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Tapebicuá booed when lob del alma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carolo Haitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgilio Loi in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teo Igon saved lob del alma from getting behind.
