Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Urbano Abaunza started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Soconcho booed when San Fernando CDB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Modestio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Fernando CDB's goalkeeper Adan Peruanton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cornelio Berto's late challenge caught a Soconcho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cornelio Berto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th match minute, San Fernando CDB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Berto to maneuver through the defense. Wilfredo Atarratze struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Adan Peruanton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soconcho. 13 minutes into the match, San Fernando CDB's goalkeeper Adan Peruanton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urbano Abaunza. With his leg Adan Peruanton managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Soconcho's Urbano Abaunza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Urbano Abaunzas short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Adan Peruanton to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 17th minute, Wilfredo Atarratze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Wilfredo Atarratze kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adan Peruanton. That made the score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. Martin Modestio charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Modestio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, San Fernando CDB's Adan Peruanton got control of the ball when Urbano Abaunza tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simon Betadur was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Soconcho getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Aaron Eguerdi hit a great ball. The Soconcho fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Soconcho's Urbano Abaunza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Anselmo Gomez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Tello in the 80th minute. In the 80th minute, Generoso Normando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lino Hartz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Adan Peruanton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Feliciano Micael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
