Luciano Guillelme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Perpinya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luciano Guillelme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of František Kubeček's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 0-1 became the score in the 18th minute when Fidel Perpinya elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by František Kubeček in the 22nd minute of play forced Reyes's goalkeeper Luciano Guillelme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Reyes's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Perpinya came free, but Luciano Guillelme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. František Kubeček sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ARLO FC's Fidel Perpinya got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, František Kubeček managed to get in a good position for a shot. ARLO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but František Kubeček was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Guillelme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 56 minutes, Jairo Acuña mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reyes and the ARLO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. With his leg Luciano Guillelme managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when ARLO FC's František Kubeček fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. František Kubeček sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fidel Perpinya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Guillelme having to interfere. Luciano Guillelme came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by ARLO FC's Pipis Kaķacis. But to his dismay, Pipis Kaķacis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Luciano Guillelme made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when František Kubeček sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute, Fidel Perpinya made a precise shot to the right of Luciano Guillelme. Reyes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7.
