Rigoberto Jerano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertinho Maciel in the 9th minute of the match. Rigoberto Jerano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertinho Maciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Desiderio Ekaitz made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Fabricio Sauveur sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Ariztimuño's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Desiderio Ekaitz was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. 41 minutes into the match, Atlético San Martín's goal looked a bit too open when Oskar Seiler came free, but Rigoberto Jerano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Lagunillas FC's Oskar Seiler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rigoberto Jerano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Lagunillas FC's Albertinho Maciel got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabricio Sauveur made a kick off. The supporters of Lagunillas FC booed when Atlético San Martín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Quilino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Jerano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oskar Seiler in the 58th minute of the match. Rigoberto Jerano made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Murvet Tadić sent off a good shot on target. After 64 played minutes Lagunillas FC got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Cristofor. With a little luck, Atlético San Martín's Rigoberto Jerano got control of the ball when Murvet Tadić tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rigoberto Jerano came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Lagunillas FC's Oskar Seiler. But to his dismay, Oskar Seiler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After a rather tough play, Atlético San Martín's Mateush Berozko got a free kick in the 75th minute. Desiderio Ekaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Sauveur in the 81st minute of the match. If Antonio Quilino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lagunillas FC's Desiderio Ekaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Sauveur in the 86th minute of play. Tomáš Mašlej's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rigoberto Jerano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Rigoberto Jerano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertinho Maciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Atlético San Martín's goalkeeper Rigoberto Jerano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oskar Seiler. Jacinto Ariztimuño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Desiderio Ekaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Atlético San Martín supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lagunillas FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Lagunillas FC.
