In the 25th play minute Fabricio Sauveur came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Teo Mon. 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Ariztimuño in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teo Mon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Curacó FC's Teo Mon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Curacó FC from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the match, Curacó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Sauveur came free, but Teo Mon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabricio Sauveurs short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Teo Mon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fabricio Sauveur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Teo Mon made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Haroldo Erramun to make the kick off. Atlético San Martín's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Ariztimuño was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teo Mon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jacinto Ariztimuño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd match minute, Curacó FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Velasco to maneuver through the defense. Teo Mon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Sauveur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atlético San Martín walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
