The supporters of Amaducci booed when Curacó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Curacó FC's zone, Delmiro Lucero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Mon came out of the goal and Delmiro Lucero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esteve Brion kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Haroldo Erramun got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Erramun in the 44th minute of play forced Amaducci's goalkeeper Emilio Selmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Haroldo Erramun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curacó FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amaducci the free kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Haroldo Erramun to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Delmiro Lucero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teo Mon was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. 64 minutes into the game, Amaducci's Ezequiel Oro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teo Mon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Curacó FC's Teo Mon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Curacó FC from getting a goal against them. Haroldo Erramun got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 77 played minutes Curacó FC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Chumo. Teo Mon made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Delmiro Lucero sent off a good shot on target. Maximiliano Cordarius hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Romulo Goren sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Curacó FC's Teo Mon didn't even have to move. Romulo Goren kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Amaducci defense, Aquilino Lope kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emilio Selmo. The Amaducci fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emilio Selmo should have stopped the shot.
