Spectators: 7460 (Terracing: 5596, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eleuterio Quinteros started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Zeledon Frasquito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Chico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Chico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Quinteros in the 6th minute of the match. Zeledon Frasquito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Furor FC's Ignacio Salvino in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jaque Mate Ice's goalie prevented a goal. After 12 minutes, Eleuterio Quinteros made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Jaque Mate Ice's Emilio Chico tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute, Eleuterio Quinteros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emilio Chico was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jaque Mate Ice's Emilio Chico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Frasquito in the 21st minute of play. Geronimo Niguel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonel Madaleno went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute of the match Ramiro Louis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Geronimo Niguel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eleuterio Quinteros took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Chico. Emilio Chico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Emilio Chico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Frasquito in the 36th minute of play. When Teofilo Bonadona fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jaque Mate Ice's protests and gave Teofilo Bonadona a yellow card for diving instead. With 38 minutes on the clock, Ramiro Louis commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Jaque Mate Ice's Ramiro Louis got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute of the match Zeledon Frasquito sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emilio Chico skillfully saved the ball. Celestino Flores charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celestino Flores the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonel Madaleno was the one to do the kick off. Ladislao Quentin hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Emilio Chico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Frasquito in the 59th minute of play. Emilio Chico made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Eleuterio Quinteros sent off a good shot on target. Celestino Flores kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Leonel Madaleno sped through Furor FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Geronimo Niguel. 71 minutes into the match, Jaque Mate Ice's goalkeeper Emilio Chico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eleuterio Quinteros. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Frasquito got free with Emilio Chico in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emilio Chico made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Eleuterio Quinteros sent off a good shot on target. The attack was good, but when Eleuterio Quinteros in the 79th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Geronimo Niguel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Madaleno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Madaleno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ignacio Salvino came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Furor FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Salvino couldn't finish the play. Emilio Chico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Frasquito in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Furor FC's Eleuterio Quinteros ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emilio Chico. Emilio Chico yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4.
