When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Nikos Papadamou put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jean-Pierre Mignolet. Jean-Pierre Mignolet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikos Papadamou in the 6th minute of the match. Jean-Pierre Mignolet came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Platense's Nikos Papadamou. But to his dismay, Nikos Papadamou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The Platense fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Platense's Nikos Papadamou looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 20th minute Nikos Papadamou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Pierre Mignolet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean-Pierre Mignolet didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Platense's Nikos Papadamou shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Platense's Humberto Cayo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pascual Orlondon, made in the 38th minute of the game. If Nikos Papadamou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Esquipula stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Platense's Nikos Papadamou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jean-Pierre Mignolet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58thth minute of the game Nikos Papadamou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Delfina's Jean-Pierre Mignolet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th minute, Nikos Papadamou reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jean-Pierre Mignolet. The goal made the score 0-8. Mauro Amaya struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Nemesio Gurutz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Delfina. Oscar Danel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jean-Pierre Mignolet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Platense's Nikos Papadamou ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jean-Pierre Mignolet. Jean-Pierre Mignolet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. When Platense's Nikos Papadamou in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Delfina's goalie prevented a goal. Nikos Papadamous short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Jean-Pierre Mignolet to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 80th match minute, La Delfina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Nicholas to maneuver through the defense. Silvano Servando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carolo Austin hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Oscar Danel from long distance, 84 minutes into the match, got Jean-Pierre Mignolet's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Platense's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oscar Danel in the 86th minute. A nice corner shot did that Oscar Danel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jean-Pierre Mignolet quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Nikos Papadamou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikos Papadamou might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jean-Pierre Mignolet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nikos Papadamou ran back to his position shaking his head. Braulio Dalmau charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Braulio Dalmau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes Platense got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Dalmau. Nemesio Gurutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Esquipula in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Platense left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Delfina.
