Esteban Azevedo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Montrell in the 5th minute of play forced Quilumpa AFC's goalkeeper Cornelio Aztore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Quilumpa AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Montrell came free, but Cornelio Aztore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcial Iratze scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornelio Aztore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Quilumpa AFC's Cornelio Aztore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Iratze in the 17th minute of play. Cornelio Aztore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Iratze in the 19th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Luzea during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Igor Luzea hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Tiburcio Aguilera took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Lucas Tolino to make any attempt to save it. Lucas Tolino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tiburcio Aguilera showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 30 minute of play. MDQ MAX's Lucas Tolino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save MDQ MAX from getting a goal against them. In the 35th match minute, MDQ MAX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Aguilera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Tolino. MDQ MAX's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiburcio Aguilera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind MDQ MAX's goalkeeper Lucas Tolino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiburcio Aguilera was the one to do the kick off. Esteban Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Cornelio Aztore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geronimo Erdiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Lucas Tolino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benigno Montrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcial Iratze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Cornelio Aztore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cornelio Aztore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcial Iratze went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. MDQ MAX's Benigno Montrell got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcial Iratze might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cornelio Aztore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcial Iratze ran back to his position shaking his head. Tiburcio Aguilera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in MDQ MAX's zone, Tiburcio Aguilera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Tolino came out of the goal and Tiburcio Aguilera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Geronimo Erdiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quilumpa AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. The supporters of MDQ MAX booed when Quilumpa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Galsino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Quilumpa AFC had won after a very even match.
