In the 9th minute, Gervasio Burni made a precise shot to the right of Matias Abechuco. Bergero FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Bergero FC's zone, Gervasio Burni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Abechuco came out of the goal and Gervasio Burni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matias Abechuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Burni in the 18th minute of the match. Hilario Mendebal struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Matias Abechuco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bauti FC. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Gervasio Burni sped through Bergero FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Matias Abechuco. 26 minutes into the match, Bauti FC's Erasmo Gorosti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matias Abechuco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bauti FC were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Bergero FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gervasio Burni took the corner. The corner led Bauti FC's Hector Raulo to fire away a dangerous shot which Matias Abechuco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gervasio Burni to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Bergero FC's goalkeeper Matias Abechuco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gervasio Burni. After 56 minutes, Bartolo Hats mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bauti FC and the Bergero FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bergero FC booed when Bauti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Hats didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gervasio Burni in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
