The referee ignored Platense's protests and gave Christian Esiquio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Platense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Esiquio to maneuver through the defense. Nemesio Gurutz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Montrell in the 19th minute of the match. Raul Domeka hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Luzea came free, but Nemesio Gurutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Nikos Papadamou notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of MDQ MAX's Lucas Tolino. Lucas Tolino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Nikos Papadamou put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Lucas Tolino. In the 38th minute, Leo Ayala made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Tolino. MDQ MAX's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. The audience was convinced that Nikos Papadamou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Tolino was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. With an all-out effort, MDQ MAX's Nemesio Gurutz threw himself towards the right post 49 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benigno Montrell, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-6 lead.

The wind increased when Benigno Montrell made the kick off in the second half. Nikos Papadamou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Platense's Oscar Danel got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Tolino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikos Papadamou in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind MDQ MAX's goalkeeper Lucas Tolino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucas Tolino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Platense's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
