Platense's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikos Papadamou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matias Abechuco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Nikos Papadamou put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Matias Abechuco. Nikos Papadamou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Abechuco having to interfere. In the 35thth minute of the game Nikos Papadamou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bergero FC's Matias Abechuco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matias Abechuco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Papadamou in the 37th minute of play. When Oscar Danel came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Platense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Danel couldn't finish the play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nikos Papadamou was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Nikos Papadamou sped through Bergero FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Matias Abechuco. Nikos Papadamou had several of the Bergero FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 61 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Matias Abechuco as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Ayala in the 66th minute of play forced Bergero FC's goalkeeper Matias Abechuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nemesio Gurutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Etxatxu in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Nikos Papadamou notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Bergero FC's Matias Abechuco. Matias Abechuco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikos Papadamou got free with Matias Abechuco in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77thth minute of the game Nikos Papadamou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bergero FC's Matias Abechuco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Oscar Danel came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Platense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Danel couldn't finish the play. Nikos Papadamou in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Matias Abechuco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Matias Abechuco managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Platense's Nikos Papadamou fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Platense's Nikos Papadamou got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nikos Papadamou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nemesio Gurutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Etxatxu in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Bizi came free, but Nemesio Gurutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Platense's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
