Ronald Jeffrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Samuhi's Haroldo Checa got a free kick in the 9th minute. Scotland 1873's Adan Marin got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Scotland 1873's Ramiro Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Valerio in the 12th minute of play. Omar Iban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Cortez having to interfere. The supporters of Samuhi booed when Scotland 1873 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronald Jeffrey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes Samuhi got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Osoro. Arnoldo Osoro charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnoldo Osoro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Samuhi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Osoro to maneuver through the defense. Adan Marin might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Siro Argina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adan Marin ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximo Onbera in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Cortez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Maximo Onbera put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ramiro Cortez. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Adan Marin made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Adan Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Argina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Aldo Lope fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scotland 1873's protests and gave Aldo Lope a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute of the match Gaudencio Valerio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramiro Cortez skillfully saved the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Aldo Lope had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Siro Argina. Samuhi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aldo Lope was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Scotland 1873's Ramiro Cortez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Scotland 1873 from getting a goal against them. Epifanio Cristofor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Cortez having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Samuhi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Senin to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Adan Marin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scotland 1873 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Clemente Oro took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Siro Argina. Siro Argina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Scotland 1873 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Samuhi had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
