The Bauti FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Bauti FC's Hilario Mendebal has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. Bauti FC's Mateo Claus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Ayala in the 33rd minute of play. Nemesio Gurutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Burni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernan Maraman kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Platense's Nikos Papadamou ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mateo Claus. Mateo Claus yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 41 minutes into the game, Oscar Danel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mateo Claus. Oscar Danel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Platense's zone, Gervasio Burni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Gurutz came out of the goal and Gervasio Burni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Danel in the 55th minute of play forced Bauti FC's goalkeeper Mateo Claus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Oscar Danel notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Bauti FC's Mateo Claus. Mateo Claus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bauti FC's Mateo Claus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Papadamou in the 59th minute of play. Platense were furious when Gualterio Llorenc was red carded, 62 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Platense fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Bauti FC a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gervasio Burni, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Platense's Nemesio Gurutz. 3-3. After a rather tough play, Platense's Oscar Danel got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 70 minutes, Abelardo Gombal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bauti FC and the Platense players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Platense booed when Bauti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Gombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Gorosti in the 78th minute of play forced Platense's goalkeeper Nemesio Gurutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Claus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Servando in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Bauti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Raulo to maneuver through the defense. Gervasio Burni hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Platense's Nemesio Gurutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Gorosti in the 86th minute of play. If Gervasio Burni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Bauti FC's Gervasio Burni slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nemesio Gurutz. That made the score 3-4 after 94 minutes of play. After 98 minutes, Hector Raulo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bauti FC and the Platense players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hector Raulo kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Leo Ayala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Platense's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Ayala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateo Claus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bauti FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
