The corner led La Delfina's Pascual Orlondon to fire away a dangerous shot which Siro Argina despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mario Bernabel during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, La Delfina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Bernabel to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute Maximo Onbera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Pierre Mignolet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean-Pierre Mignolet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Iban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The La Delfina players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Samuhi were winning 0-1.

With a little luck, La Delfina's Jean-Pierre Mignolet got control of the ball when Epifanio Cristofor tried to sneak it across the goal line.
