Luis Fagondo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cassia FC. Luis Fagondo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Beltza in the 5th minute. After 8 played minutes Cassia FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Tirso. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cassia FC's goalkeeper Serafin Marko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 10 minutes, Rafael Rutenio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calabria Norte and the Cassia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 played minutes Calabria Norte got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Rutenio. Yeshayahu Kampfner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Serafin Marko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amado Lorencio hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Yeshayahu Kampfner scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serafin Marko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Segundo Estefan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Fagondo having to interfere. The supporters of Cassia FC booed when Calabria Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Rutenio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Calabria Norte's Luis Elodio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serafin Marko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 40 minutes into the game, one of Cassia FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for Calabria Norte. Ricardo Santio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Serafin Marko. 0-3. Yeshayahu Kampfner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Serafin Marko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yeshayahu Kampfner to make the kick off. After 54 minutes, Hector Sansone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cassia FC and the Calabria Norte players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Estefan in the 59th minute of play forced Calabria Norte's goalkeeper Luis Fagondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yeshayahu Kampfner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Marko having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Ricardo Santio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calabria Norte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. The Calabria Norte fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Calabria Norte's Yeshayahu Kampfner looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 76 minutes into the game, Luis Elodio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Serafin Marko. Luis Elodio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. When Luis Elodio came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Calabria Norte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Elodio couldn't finish the play. Serafin Marko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorino Ezkerra in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute, Calabria Norte's Ruperto Ofelio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. A collision led to Cassia FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jeronimo Presebal hit a great ball. Bernardo Walme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Fagondo having to interfere. In the 94th minute Segundo Estefan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Fagondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruperto Ofelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Calabria Norte played a much better game than Cassia FC and deserved their victory. The Cassia FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
