Aldao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leopardi the free kick. After a rather tough play, Aldao's Inocencio Micael got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Uriel Gonsalve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Perfecto in the 4th minute of play. Israel Perfectos short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Uriel Gonsalve to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 8 minutes into the match, Ged Laverick notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Aldao's Uriel Gonsalve. Uriel Gonsalve was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 14th minute, Inocencio Micael made a precise shot to the right of Gerardo Celipe. Leopardi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The supporters of Leopardi booed when Aldao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clóvis de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ged Laverick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uriel Gonsalve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ged Laverick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Israel Perfecto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerardo Celipe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Sein, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute of the match, Israel Perfecto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Uriel Gonsalve saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Flavio Alonso kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Israel Perfecto sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Uriel Gonsalve threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Israel Perfecto this time. Inocencio Micael hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Dennis Johnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Gerardo Celipe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Sein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerardo Celipe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Nofre in the 43rd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Desiderio Sein charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Desiderio Sein the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Aldao's Desiderio Sein got a free kick in the 50th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Leopardi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Aldao:s goal. Elias Nofre placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Uriel Gonsalve came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Leopardi's Israel Perfecto. But to his dismay, Israel Perfecto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Uriel Gonsalve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ged Laverick in the 68th minute of play. Iker Nastasio hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Ged Laverick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leopardi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ged Laverick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerardo Celipe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Micael in the 75th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Israel Perfecto in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uriel Gonsalve saved Aldao from getting behind. Ged Laverick took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uriel Gonsalve. Uriel Gonsalve dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iker Nastasio got free with Gerardo Celipe in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elias Nofre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Gerardo Celipe made a huge save. Jannis Van Hove lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Leopardi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! Elias Nofre placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Gustavo Precioso kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Elias Nofre kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gerardo Celipe. That made the score 4-2 in the 98 minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Leopardi fully deserved thier win.
