When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Alfonso Niguel sped through villa minetti FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Glen Nash. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Niguel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Glen Nash was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. After 10 played minutes Munro por siempre got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Romano. Glen Nash came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Munro por siempre's Alfonso Niguel. But to his dismay, Alfonso Niguel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Glen Nash showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Gartxot, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Ismael Videl hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, villa minetti FC's Rigoberto Endura got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th match minute, villa minetti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Videl to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Alfonso Niguel notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of villa minetti FC's Glen Nash. Glen Nash was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Munro por siempre were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after villa minetti FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emilio Gartxot took the corner. Glen Nash made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Niguel in the 42nd minute of play. Alfredo Raymond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glen Nash having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rigoberto Endura to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Munro por siempre's Emilio Gartxot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Glen Nash made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Endura in the 58th minute of play forced Munro por siempre's goalkeeper Borys Konopka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glen Nash was a little too slow when Emilio Gartxot got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-5. Alfredo Raymond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Glen Nash having to make a save. In the 76th minute, Timoteo Mincho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in villa minetti FC's zone, Alfredo Raymond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Glen Nash came out of the goal and Alfredo Raymond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Gartxot in the 81st minute of play forced villa minetti FC's goalkeeper Glen Nash to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Rigoberto Endura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Borys Konopka. Munro por siempre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rigoberto Endura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Alfonso Niguel in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Glen Nash, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Alfredo Raymond came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Munro por siempre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Raymond couldn't finish the play. Munro por siempre played a much better game than villa minetti FC and deserved their victory. The villa minetti FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
