When Melchor Frances came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the C.A. Caminiaga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melchor Frances couldn't finish the play. Geronimo Orlandus made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C.A. Caminiaga's Hector Luix. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Bieito in the 20th minute of play forced villa minetti FC's goalkeeper Glen Nash to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ildefonso Bieito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Iago was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Caminiaga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave villa minetti FC the free kick. Osvaldo Iago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Glen Nash tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Domingos Cordeara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, villa minetti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Rey came free, but Glen Nash reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to villa minetti FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Rigoberto Endura hit a great ball. Glen Nash made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Iago in the 43rd minute of play. C.A. Caminiaga's Hemming Tjørnum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Crowther in the 46th minute of play. After the first half C.A. Caminiaga were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rigoberto Endura made a kick off. Hemming Tjørnum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Endura, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ildefonso Bieito managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Caminiaga's supporters rose to their feet, but Ildefonso Bieito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Glen Nash breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C.A. Caminiaga's Rodolfo Txeru got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Glen Nash took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Txeru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodolfo Txeru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Glen Nash read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Ramone during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bruno Ramone kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Glen Nash was a little too slow when Rodolfo Txeru got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-2. After a rather tough play, villa minetti FC's Albino Liberto got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Ildefonso Bieitos short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Glen Nash to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rodolfo Txeru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Oscar Crowther fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hemming Tjørnum having to interfere. Glen Nash made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Iago in the 88th minute of play. The villa minetti FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.A. Caminiaga were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
