Mariano Galeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Mitxaut, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Mariano Galeno came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Coghlan's Wilfredo Henry. But to his dismay, Wilfredo Henry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Belloco's Rigoberto Palos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Wilfredo Henry in the 20 minute of the game. In the 21st minute, Luisito Fix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute Jimeno Katia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Galeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Galeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Henry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Wilfredo Henry ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariano Galeno was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 47th minute Jimeno Katia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Galeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Belloco players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atlético Coghlan were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saverio Orlin was the one to do the kick off. Cornelio Ascencio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Mariano Galeno skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Club Atlético Coghlan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulino Avellaneda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Rigoberto Palos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Atlético Coghlan's Paulino Avellaneda couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 97th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Belloco. Club Atlético Coghlan played a much better game than Belloco and deserved their victory. The Belloco players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
