Borys Konopka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Mitxaut, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After some careless play in the Munro por siempre defense, Cornelio Ascencio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Borys Konopka. The Munro por siempre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Borys Konopka should have stopped the shot. Club Atlético Coghlan's Dario Mitxaut got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Dario Mitxaut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Coghlan's goalkeeper Victor Lluc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Niguel. In the 22nd match minute, Club Atlético Coghlan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Henry to maneuver through the defense. Munro por siempre's Borys Konopka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Ascencio in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Ascencio in the 28th minute of play forced Munro por siempre's goalkeeper Borys Konopka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Cornelio Ascencio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Borys Konopka was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. When Emilio Gartxot fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Munro por siempre's protests and gave Emilio Gartxot a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Munro por siempre getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Emilio Gartxot hit a great ball. With a little luck, Club Atlético Coghlan's Victor Lluc got control of the ball when Alfonso Niguel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Club Atlético Coghlan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Alfonso Niguel scored to the left of an out of position Victor Lluc, making the score, 1-3. Alfredo Raymond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Lluc having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Alfonso Niguel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Munro por siempre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Niguel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilfredo Henry kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Club Atlético Coghlan were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Alfonso Niguel made the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Raymond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Borys Konopka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Ascencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Borys Konopka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Mitxaut in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Club Atlético Coghlan getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Wilfredo Henry hit a great ball. In the 60th match minute, Munro por siempre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costante Ocomardia to maneuver through the defense. If Emilio Gartxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Lluc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Niguel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the game, Cornelio Ascencio lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Borys Konopka. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Niguel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Lluc was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. When David Belmiro fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Coghlan's protests and gave David Belmiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 81 minutes, Raul Sagrario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Coghlan and the Munro por siempre players grew even worse after the yellow card. Club Atlético Coghlan's Denis Manuelo was substituted for German Gaur. In the 86th match minute, Munro por siempre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costante Ocomardia to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Borys Konopka managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Club Atlético Coghlan's Cornelio Ascencio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 89 played minutes Munro por siempre got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Romano. When Emilio Gartxot came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Munro por siempre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Gartxot couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Atlético Coghlan had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
