Hemming Tjørnum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Urki in the 15th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Caminiaga's zone, Alfonso Niguel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hemming Tjørnum came out of the goal and Alfonso Niguel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfonso Niguel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Hemming Tjørnum made a huge save. Daniel Pero's late challenge caught a C.A. Caminiaga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Pero helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of C.A. Caminiaga booed when Munro por siempre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Pero didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Ladislao Daunte in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.A. Caminiaga's Melchor Frances. Borys Konopka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Iago in the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match Munro por siempre got a corner. C.A. Caminiaga's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ladislao Daunte ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ladislao Daunte got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hemming Tjørnum quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Niguel got free with Hemming Tjørnum in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the game, Alfonso Niguel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Hemming Tjørnum was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ildefonso Bieito to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, C.A. Caminiaga's Melchor Frances got a free kick in the 57th minute. 65 minutes into the match, C.A. Caminiaga's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Fertus came free, but Hemming Tjørnum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, C.A. Caminiaga's Ildefonso Bieito got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osvaldo Iago kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Hemming Tjørnum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Niguel, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After 96 played minutes C.A. Caminiaga got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Ranolfo. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Munro por siempre had played much better football throughout.
