An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Martino in the 7th minute of play forced Mata Tangas de Victoria's goalkeeper Fabrizio Catapano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9thth minute of the game Justo Isadore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mata Tangas de Victoria's Fabrizio Catapano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matias Darien was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 19 minutes into the match. The referee gave Mata Tangas de Victoria a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. Fabrizio Catapano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Martino in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Henri-Xavier Lenaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justo Isadore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Pitt Steeler's Justo Isadore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabrizio Catapano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabrizio Catapano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justo Isadore's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After 37 minutes Mata Tangas de Victoria's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zacarias Selatse who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Zacarias Selatse almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mata Tangas de Victoria's Fabrizio Catapano did a great save. Henri-Xavier Lenaerts took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celedonio Eyague. Celedonio Eyague dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some careless play in the Pitt Steeler defense, Henri-Xavier Lenaerts kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celedonio Eyague. The Pitt Steeler fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celedonio Eyague should have stopped the shot. Sotos Kastaniou kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Fabrizio Catapano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Isadore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Domingo Galeno came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Mata Tangas de Victoria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Galeno couldn't finish the play. If Justo Isadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Justo Isadore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabrizio Catapano was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 66 minutes into the match, Pitt Steeler's goal looked a bit too open when Remigiusz Sroka came free, but Celedonio Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 minutes, Remigiusz Sroka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mata Tangas de Victoria and the Pitt Steeler players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mata Tangas de Victoria getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Remigiusz Sroka hit a great ball. In the 72ndth minute of the game Justo Isadore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mata Tangas de Victoria's Fabrizio Catapano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Pitt Steeler getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Zacarias Selatse hit a great ball. In the 78th minute of the match Remigiusz Sroka shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celedonio Eyague showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fabrizio Catapano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Martino in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Pascual Stanislao left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mata Tangas de Victoria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Justo Isadore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrizio Catapano having to interfere. Pitt Steeler's Justo Isadore got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Justo Isadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th match minute, Pitt Steeler was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Rik to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mata Tangas de Victoria eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
