Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jonatan Etxekopar got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Tomás Vachon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Mateus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Mateus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Etxekopar in the 4th minute of play. In the 5thth minute of the game Jonatan Etxekopar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Otumpa's Zeledon Mateus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Jonatan Etxekopar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeledon Mateus was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the game, Narciso Raebert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Zeledon Mateus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Narciso Raebert came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Azzurro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Raebert couldn't finish the play. Enrique Frascuelo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Horacio Goi made a huge save. Zeledon Mateus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Etxekopar, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After having played for 29 minutes, Jonatan Etxekopar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azzurro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonatan Etxekopar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonatan Etxekopar in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Mateus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Azzurro's Fernan Burni got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonatan Etxekopar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeledon Mateus having to make a save. After 42 played minutes Otumpa got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Mederi. When Lucas Ayala came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Azzurro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Ayala couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
If Ciro Leguizamón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Otumpa's zone, Fernan Burni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Mateus came out of the goal and Fernan Burni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonatan Etxekopar in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Mateus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fernan Burni charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernan Burni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amadeo Mederi kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Amadeo Mederi fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Otumpa's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Vachon came free, but Zeledon Mateus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Etxekopar had several of the Otumpa's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Zeledon Mateus as he didn't even see the shot coming. Azzurro's Narciso Raebert got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Azzurro booed when Otumpa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Ilixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narciso Raebert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeledon Mateus made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Jonatan Etxekopar sent off a good shot on target. Jonatan Etxekopar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernan Burni took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zeledon Mateus. Otumpa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 95th minute of the match Lucio Anaya shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Mateus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonatan Etxekopar in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Mateus saved Otumpa from getting behind. The Otumpa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Azzurro were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
