La Acade's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petre Caramarin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Canor got free with Ernst Hegg in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Creer Para Ver defense, Amado Rioja kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gu Yuan.
