Teobald Kicia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Carlos Fernando Mondragón made a huge save. Carlos Fernando Mondragón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xurde Campoamor in the 21st minute of play. Delvi F. C.'s Nestor Lander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Cugat in the 23rd minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Delvi F. C.'s Teobald Kicia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Fernando Mondragón made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 33 minutes into the match, Teobald Kicia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Fernando Mondragón. Saverio Nakama Loyalty's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teobald Kicia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Carlos Fernando Mondragón was a little too slow when Xurde Campoamor got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 5-1. When Harri Kane came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Delvi F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harri Kane couldn't finish the play. Xurde Campoamor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Delvi F. C.'s Carlos Fernando Mondragón threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Xurde Campoamor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Teobald Kicia came free with the goalkeeper in the 49th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Carlos Fernando Mondragón could save by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

Carlos Fernando Mondragón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Asklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobald Kicia in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Fernando Mondragón saved Saverio Nakama Loyalty from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Teobald Kicia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Fernando Mondragón. Carlos Fernando Mondragón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xurde Campoamor in the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Saverio Nakama Loyalty's goal looked a bit too open when Xurde Campoamor came free, but Carlos Fernando Mondragón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Teobald Kicia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Fernando Mondragón was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After 80 minutes, Alonzo Domingues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saverio Nakama Loyalty and the Delvi F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
