Belgrano's attentive Edgard Machado managed to snatch the ball when Cornelio Iyan made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benito Jaunti during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A hard shot 15 in the game by Carlos Sabino from a close distance when the talented Mariusz Cholewa managed to make a qualified save. Pepote FC's players were relieved. When Aureliano Beti came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Pepote FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Beti couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Belgrano booed when Pepote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Beti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Sabino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Mariusz Cholewa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aureliano Beti might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaston Bertin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aureliano Beti ran back to his position shaking his head. Gaston Bertin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Feliu in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Pepote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Sabino came free, but Mariusz Cholewa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pepote FC's zone, Carlos Sabino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariusz Cholewa came out of the goal and Carlos Sabino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute Carlos Sabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariusz Cholewa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Sabino made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Pepote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Söderberg to maneuver through the defense. Cornelio Iyan kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Sabino in the 59th minute of play forced Pepote FC's goalkeeper Mariusz Cholewa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaston Bertin was a little too slow when Romeo Feliu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-3. Gaston Bertin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Feliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Pepote FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Anacleto Beltza hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Belgrano fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! Gaston Bertin had in the 69thth minute some difficulties stopping Anacleto Beltza's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Belgrano getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Marcial Sanduru hit a great ball. Carlos Sabino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Mariusz Cholewa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Pepote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Sabino came free, but Mariusz Cholewa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Carlos Sabino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariusz Cholewa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3.
