Zodiaco Star F.C. were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Belgrano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eberhard Kühlem took the corner. After taking down the ball on Zodiaco Star F.C.'s corner Eberhard Kühlem fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gaston Bertin quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Zodiaco Star F.C.'s Delmar Eztebe got a free kick in the 16th minute. Delmar Eztebe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Gaston Bertin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Zodiaco Star F.C.'s Everardo Illan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gaston Bertin. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. In the 30th match minute, Belgrano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Tiso to maneuver through the defense. Marciano Etxeberri lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Belgrano:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zodiaco Star F.C.:s goal. Delmar Eztebe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Gaston Bertin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 40th minute, Everardo Illan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zodiaco Star F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Gaston Bertin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delmar Eztebe in the 43rd minute. Zodiaco Star F.C.'s Vasile Tarchilă managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Modesto Tiso in the 44 minute of the game. 46 minutes into the match, Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Illan came free, but Gaston Bertin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Belgrano's Gaston Bertin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Belgrano from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Everardo Illan to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Delmar Eztebe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaston Bertin was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. The supporters of Belgrano booed when Zodiaco Star F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasile Tarchilă didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Illan in the 73rd minute of play forced Belgrano's goalkeeper Gaston Bertin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Zodiaco Star F.C. were awarded a corner. Eberhard Kühlem went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Isaias Gartzen heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 84th minute Everardo Illan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Bertin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute of the match Zodiaco Star F.C. got a corner. Belgrano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eberhard Kühlem ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Zodiaco Star F.C.'s Isaias Gartzen getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 88 minutes, Eberhard Kühlem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zodiaco Star F.C. and the Belgrano players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Belgrano booed when Zodiaco Star F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eberhard Kühlem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmar Eztebe took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaston Bertin. Gaston Bertin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Zodiaco Star F.C. fully deserved thier win.
