Sabagasta FC were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Pepote FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anacleto Cordairo took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Pepote FC's goalie and right to Benito Estavan. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Pepote FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Benito Estavan fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sabagasta FC's protests and gave Benito Estavan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Benito Estavan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute Benito Estavan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariusz Cholewa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute of the match Anacleto Beltza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baldomero Oihenarte skillfully saved the ball. Ariel Calvet kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Pepote FC's goalkeeper Mariusz Cholewa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silverio Raebert. Benito Estavan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Mariusz Cholewa made a huge save. In the 71st minute, Silverio Raebert made a precise shot to the right of Mariusz Cholewa. Pepote FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. The Pepote FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariusz Cholewa should have stopped the shot. Apolo Segio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Mariusz Cholewa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mariusz Cholewa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Estavan in the 91st minute of the match. Aureliano Beti's late challenge caught a Sabagasta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aureliano Beti helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th match minute, Pepote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Beti to maneuver through the defense.
