The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Santos Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Belgrano's Matias Errapel got a free kick in the 13th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudio Bela during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 played minutes Chacabuco Animals Return got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Bela. After 19 played minutes Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Matias Errapel. Chacabuco Animals Return's Claudio Bela shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 20th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gaston Bertin but with some difficulty. Florentino Cesario didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgard Machado went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Carlos Sabino scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florentino Cesario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Chacabuco Animals Return booed when Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Liberto didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victorio Claris to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos Sabino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Florentino Cesario when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 54 played minutes Chacabuco Animals Return got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Viator. In the 56th minute, Albano Diagur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaston Bertin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Castel in the 60th minute of play. After 62 minutes of play, Chacabuco Animals Return's Victorio Claris made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaston Bertin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcial Sanduru hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Edgard Machado succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 73rd playminute. Carlos Sabino scored 1-4 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florentino Cesario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd minute, Victorio Claris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 85 minutes, Edgard Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belgrano and the Chacabuco Animals Return players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Belgrano's Edgard Machado got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute of the match Hermengildo Viator sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaston Bertin skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiliano Castel in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaston Bertin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Sabino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florentino Cesario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Emiliano Castel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Bertin having to interfere.
