Delmar Eztebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Iratxo having to interfere. In the 9th match minute, Kekambas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pepe Mujica to maneuver through the defense. Everardo Illan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Delmar Eztebe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zodiaco Star F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Delmar Eztebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteve Iratxo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zodiaco Star F.C.'s Everardo Illan suffered a sore thigh after 15 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 17th match minute, Kekambas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Osoro to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd match minute, Kekambas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Lazcano to maneuver through the defense. If Delmar Eztebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 31 minutes, Fernando Bertol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kekambas FC and the Zodiaco Star F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernando Bertol hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game Delmar Eztebe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kekambas FC's Esteve Iratxo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eberhard Kühlem in the 35th minute of play forced Kekambas FC's goalkeeper Esteve Iratxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmar Eztebe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute Delmar Eztebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Iratxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 minutes, Alfonso Gonzales mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kekambas FC and the Zodiaco Star F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alfonso Gonzales kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The Kekambas FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zodiaco Star F.C. were winning 0-1.

In the 52nd minute, one of Zodiaco Star F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zodiaco Star F.C.. Esteve Iratxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Lixandro in the 58th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Justo Lixandro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Esteve Iratxo. That made the score 1-2 in the 60 minute of play. Zodiaco Star F.C.'s Justo Lixandro got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Zodiaco Star F.C.'s Esteve Iratxo threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eberhard Kühlem, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Esteve Iratxo made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Eberhard Kühlem sent off a good shot on target. Zodiaco Star F.C. played a much better game than Kekambas FC and deserved their victory. The Kekambas FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
