Lucio Guillerme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the game, Jose Cruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Villa Bosch's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campana Gitanes Club the free kick. After 22 played minutes Atletico Villa Bosch got a freekick which was hit by Jose Cruz. The throw-in from Leonardo Ibon in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Atletico Villa Bosch's Leonides Maidana. Cleto Ekhi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Innocenzio having to interfere. Reynaldo Abecia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florencio Innocenzio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cleto Ekhi in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Leonardo Maule made a precise shot to the right of Lucio Guillerme. Atletico Villa Bosch's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.

In the 52nd minute, Mauricio Lonzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucio Guillerme made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Rene Artal sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Atletico Villa Bosch's Lucio Guillerme got control of the ball when Rene Artal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonides Maidana's late challenge caught a Campana Gitanes Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
