The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Castulo couldn't finish the play. Leopoldo Gagriel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Primitivo Abalos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulino Pacifico went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Inocencio Oidor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ovidio Malvin in the 17th minute. In the 58th minute, one of Anyelo MDP:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Anyelo MDP. Anyelo MDP's Primitivo Abalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Gagriel in the 63rd minute of play. Anyelo MDP's Primitivo Abalos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Anyelo MDP from getting a goal against them. Inocencio Oidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Astigar, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute.
