The supporters of C.A. Abismo booed when Campana Gitanes Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Gutxi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Virgilio Casado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Florencio Innocenzio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When C.A. Abismo's Nexhmi Gunga in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Florencio Innocenzio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nexhmi Gunga's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silverio Ekaitz got free with Cecilio Bertol in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the game, Eduardo Dantae was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Abismo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campana Gitanes Club the free kick. A collision led to C.A. Abismo getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Eduardo Dantae hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgilio Casado in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florencio Innocenzio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute Agustin Sidro suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Ruben Gutxi charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruben Gutxi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Campana Gitanes Club getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ruben Gutxi hit a great ball. Florencio Innocenzio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Casado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florencio Innocenzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Casado in the 34th minute of play. If Virgilio Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Nexhmi Gunga put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Florencio Innocenzio. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Virgilio Casado sped through Campana Gitanes Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Florencio Innocenzio. C.A. Abismo's Jorge Herauso got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 47 played minutes C.A. Abismo got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Urtats. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgilio Casado was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Virgilio Casado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florencio Innocenzio was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. With an all-out effort, C.A. Abismo's Florencio Innocenzio threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Virgilio Casado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nexhmi Gunga in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Florencio Innocenzio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 70th minute, Nexhmi Gunga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florencio Innocenzio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. C.A. Abismo's Virgilio Casado was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 73rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. C.A. Abismo's Luis Arixo was substituted for Nexhmi Gunga. 78 minutes into the match, Campana Gitanes Club's goalkeeper Florencio Innocenzio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgilio Casado. Romulo Bixintxo made a great header on C.A. Abismo's corner, it was just that Campana Gitanes Club's Florencio Innocenzio managed to reach the ball for a save. After 85 minutes, Virgilio Casado made it 1-10 with a short kick to the right side. Campana Gitanes Club's Florencio Innocenzio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute, Luis Arixo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. C.A. Abismo played a much better game than Campana Gitanes Club and deserved their victory. The Campana Gitanes Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
