Bernardino Tanio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Zarate unidos's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Casado came free, but Bernardino Tanio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 played minutes C.A. Abismo got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Sidro. 12 minutes into the match, Zarate unidos's Cao Quan Lin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cecilio Bertol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cao Quan Lin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cecilio Bertol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, C.A. Abismo's goalkeeper Cecilio Bertol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cao Quan Lin. Bernardino Tanio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nexhmi Gunga in the 19th minute of the match. Cao Quan Lin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cecilio Bertol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After 22 minutes C.A. Abismo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gilberto Suero who took care of the corner kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in C.A. Abismo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! Agustin Sidro's late challenge caught a Zarate unidos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agustin Sidro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, C.A. Abismo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Sidro to maneuver through the defense. Bernardino Tanio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Casado in the 33rd minute of the match. After 33 minutes of play, C.A. Abismo's Virgilio Casado made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardino Tanio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cao Quan Lin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cecilio Bertol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. If Cao Quan Lin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 46 played minutes C.A. Abismo got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Urtats. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The audience was convinced that Virgilio Casado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardino Tanio was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Agustin Sidro was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 53rd match minute, C.A. Abismo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Sidro to maneuver through the defense. After 54 played minutes C.A. Abismo got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Medardo. Gilberto Suero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomasz Mnich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Zarate unidos defense, Nexhmi Gunga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardino Tanio. The Zarate unidos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardino Tanio should have stopped the shot. Bernardino Tanio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nexhmi Gunga in the 71st minute. With a little luck, Zarate unidos's Bernardino Tanio got control of the ball when Nexhmi Gunga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomasz Mnich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Bertol having to interfere. Luis Arixo struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Bernardino Tanio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Abismo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Arixo got free with Bernardino Tanio in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernardino Tanio made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Luis Arixo sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Luis Arixo sped through Zarate unidos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernardino Tanio. The Zarate unidos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching C.A. Abismo's performance. The match ended with a win for C.A. Abismo.
