Lucio Guillerme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cao Quan Lin in the 40th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Tadeo Delfino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zarate unidos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Villa Bosch the free kick. After the first half Zarate unidos were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reynaldo Abecia made a kick off. Marco Gonchan's late challenge caught a Atletico Villa Bosch's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Gonchan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd match minute, Zarate unidos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Gonchan to maneuver through the defense. After 65 minutes, Leonides Maidana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Villa Bosch and the Zarate unidos players grew even worse after the yellow card.
