LOS GUITRASOS's Walter Mazanti shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Javier Florian but with some difficulty. In the 17th minute of the match Romulo Malvin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hermengildo Manni skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Generoso Rudolfo in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermengildo Manni saved LOS GUITRASOS from getting behind. La Palmira F.C's Isidro Millano got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Paolo Blanco managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Palmira F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo Blanco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Manni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hermengildo Manni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Generoso Rudolfo's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 40th match minute, LOS GUITRASOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Duardo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Rudolfo in the 41st minute of play forced LOS GUITRASOS's goalkeeper Hermengildo Manni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Blanco struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Hermengildo Manni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Palmira F.C. LOS GUITRASOS's Hermengildo Manni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Rudolfo in the 45th minute of play. Elpidio Micael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Hermengildo Manni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the game, Generoso Rudolfo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Urbano Eron to make the kick off. La Palmira F.C's Javier Florian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Eron in the 94th minute of play. Generoso Rudolfo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Hermengildo Manni when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Generoso Rudolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The LOS GUITRASOS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. La Palmira F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
