Fermin Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Matthew cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Faustino Asteri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Faustino Asteri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from El Cavalli in the 46th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Huracán's zone, Fermin Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Asteri came out of the goal and Fermin Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eulalio Atarratze stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If El Cavalli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sarasa AFC booed when Huracán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Guillerme didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st match minute, Huracán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Quiroga to maneuver through the defense. Huracán's Faustino Asteri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Huracán from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Huracán's goalkeeper Faustino Asteri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gaston Etor's late challenge caught a Sarasa AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaston Etor helped the player get up and apologised. Gaston Etor kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Sarasa AFC's Fermin Furtado got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
