After 18 minutes of play, Magnifus FC's Melchor Joseph made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnulfo Piarres was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lázaro Ignado might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnulfo Piarres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lázaro Ignado ran back to his position shaking his head. The Magnifus FC fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Magnifus FC's Lázaro Ignado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Castelar F.C.'s Arnulfo Piarres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Castelar F.C. from getting a goal against them. Magnifus FC's Anselmo Laurendi got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Castelar F.C.'s goalkeeper Arnulfo Piarres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edelmiro Valerio. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arturo Inocente stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Magnifus FC's Melchor Joseph nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnulfo Piarres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Melchor Joseph put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Arnulfo Piarres. Lázaro Ignado hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that German Senen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bogdan Cioculescu was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 93rd minute Arturo Inocente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Cioculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Castelar F.C.'s Arturo Inocente got a free kick in the 96th minute. Magnifus FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
