In the 8th minute, Anacleto Tibalt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, club atletico uba's Julio Baleren got control of the ball when Fausto Azibar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fausto Azibar scored 1-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Baleren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salvador Ermengol got free with Julio Baleren in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, club atletico uba's goalkeeper Julio Baleren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestre Vachon. Silverio Lizar had several of the club atletico uba's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Julio Baleren as he didn't even see the shot coming. Julio Baleren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Lizar in the 38th minute of play. Fausto Azibar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silverio Lizar in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Baleren saved club atletico uba from getting behind. Silverio Lizar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Julio Baleren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, club atletico uba's Julio Baleren got control of the ball when Salvador Ermengol tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silverio Lizar to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Berreta FC were awarded a corner. Santos Piearres went to the cornerflag to take it. Santos Piearres made a great header on Berreta FC's corner, it was just that club atletico uba's Julio Baleren managed to reach the ball for a save. Julio Baleren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 74th match minute, Berreta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Piearres to maneuver through the defense. After 75 played minutes club atletico uba got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Maurino. club atletico uba's Julio Baleren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Azibar in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute Marcelo Qwinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Baleren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
