Reynaldo Stephen made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Hermengildo Hunfredo sent off a good shot on target. In the 7th minute Evelio Pes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Urtun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Urtun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evelio Pes went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Angelo Urtun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Theo Hayles's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Angelo Urtun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Hayles, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Club Sportivo Italiano were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Votra's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luisito Bikendi took the corner. Club Sportivo Italiano's Luisito Bikendi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Angelo Urtun in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Pes in the 20th minute of play forced Votra's goalkeeper Angelo Urtun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tiburcio Chus fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Votra's protests and gave Tiburcio Chus a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, Votra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Chus to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Urtun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Pes in the 28th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Votra defense, Theo Hayles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelo Urtun. The Votra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelo Urtun should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Club Sportivo Italiano booed when Votra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Vellito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Club Sportivo Italiano's Evelio Pes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Urtun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. A sloppy throw-in by Luisito Bikendi in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Votra's Tobias Gaizkine. Isidoro Turi's late challenge caught a Club Sportivo Italiano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidoro Turi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, Votra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Turi to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute of the match Luisito Bikendi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Urtun skillfully saved the ball. Votra's Orlando Rosalio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sol Campbell, made in the 47th minute of the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Camilo Vellito was the one to do the kick off. Club Sportivo Italiano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luisito Bikendi in the 54th minute. Angelo Urtun was a little too slow when Theo Hayles got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-4. If Camilo Vellito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Urtun made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Theo Hayles sent off a good shot on target. Theo Hayles's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Angelo Urtun firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 67th minute Evelio Pes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Urtun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Theo Hayles struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Angelo Urtun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Sportivo Italiano. Reynaldo Stephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Gaizkine in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute Evelio Pes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Urtun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evelio Pes in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Urtun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Sportivo Italiano's Theo Hayles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angelo Urtun. That made the score 0-5 after 79 minutes of play. In the 91st minute, Evelio Pes made a precise shot to the right of Angelo Urtun. Votra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Rogelio Claris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Sportivo Italiano's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
