If Carolo Eder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Nemesio Quinteros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Burni was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. GaDeoKe FC's Fulgencio Burni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Rosario in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Freddy Olayo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MONARCAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 26th minute Bruno Alejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Burni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Olayo took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulgencio Burni. Fulgencio Burni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After having played for 38 minutes, Nemesio Quinteros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MONARCAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nemesio Quinteros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, Freddy Olayo made a precise shot to the right of Fulgencio Burni. GaDeoKe FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. GaDeoKe FC's Fulgencio Burni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Olayo in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

In the 51st minute, Bruno Alejo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fulgencio Burni. The goal made the score 0-8. 61 minutes into the match, Freddy Olayo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fulgencio Burni. GaDeoKe FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Freddy Olayo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. Freddy Olayo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulgencio Burni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Fulgencio Burni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Olayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Fulgencio Burni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel Rosario in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Freddy Olayo made a precise shot to the right of Fulgencio Burni. GaDeoKe FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. The MONARCAS fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when MONARCAS's Abel Rosario looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-13 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the GaDeoKe FC defense, Abel Rosario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fulgencio Burni. The GaDeoKe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulgencio Burni should have stopped the shot. MONARCAS made a substitution. Ubaldo Behe replaced Freddy Olayo. MONARCAS made a substitution. Louie Hufschmid replaced Abel Rosario. 87 minutes into the game, Nemesio Quinteros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MONARCAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GaDeoKe FC the free kick. The supporters of GaDeoKe FC booed when MONARCAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Quinteros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fulgencio Burni stood somewhat misplaced when Nemesio Quinteros came free in front of goal and shot 0-16 to the left of him in the 92 minute. Fulgencio Burni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Quinteros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded MONARCAS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GaDeoKe FC.
