Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anibal Bernad ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hipolito Quintan tried in the 12th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Eustacio Rojelio a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-0. With a little luck, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Eustacio Rojelio got control of the ball when Celedonio Azeari tried to sneak it across the goal line. Korneliusz Zdeb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Spurr FC's Korneliusz Zdeb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Marquez in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Goizeder to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Spurr FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Celedonio Azeari hit a great ball. The supporters of Cruzeiro Esporte Clube booed when Spurr FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lionel Mamani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aaron Marquez in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Korneliusz Zdeb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Spurr FC's Lionel Mamani got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnaldo Bazil, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When Lionel Mamani came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Spurr FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lionel Mamani couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute Desiderio Indalecio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Rojelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Celedonio Azeari made a precise shot to the right of Eustacio Rojelio. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When Celedonio Azeari fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spurr FC's protests and gave Celedonio Azeari a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Spurr FC got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Azeari. 71 minutes into the match, Anibal Bernad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eustacio Rojelio. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anibal Bernad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After a rather tough play, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Hipolito Quintan got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 84th minute, Arnaldo Bazil fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Korneliusz Zdeb, passed just outside the right post. Serafin Behe charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serafin Behe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Spurr FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Serafin Behe hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Duarte in the 90th minute of play forced Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Eustacio Rojelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Duarte during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Spurr FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Duarte to maneuver through the defense. The Spurr FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
