With an extended leg and a bit of luck Korneliusz Zdeb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Gualeguaychú FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Lino Soter hit a great ball. The supporters of Spurr FC booed when Gualeguaychú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Lundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 蒋坚战 during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 蒋坚战 kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Anibal Bernad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delmar Matai hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Lionel Mamani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spurr FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lionel Mamani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amerigo Staniscia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, Lino Soter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gualeguaychú FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 22 played minutes Gualeguaychú FC got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Osorio. With an all-out effort, Gualeguaychú FC's Korneliusz Zdeb threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lino Soter, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Bernad in the 30th minute of play forced Gualeguaychú FC's goalkeeper Amerigo Staniscia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Spurr FC got a corner. Gualeguaychú FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anibal Bernad ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Spurr FC's Delmar Matai to a score. 1-1 in the 33rd minute. Spurr FC's Korneliusz Zdeb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Janpier in the 36th minute of play. When Henrik Lundberg fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gualeguaychú FC's protests and gave Henrik Lundberg a yellow card for diving instead. Amerigo Staniscia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel Mamani in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnulfo Janpier made a kick off. Lionel Mamani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Spurr FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gregorio Porfirio hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnulfo Janpier in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Korneliusz Zdeb saved Spurr FC from getting behind. In the 58th match minute, Spurr FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafin Behe to maneuver through the defense. Korneliusz Zdeb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Janpier, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Spurr FC's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Geofredo came free, but Korneliusz Zdeb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Anibal Bernad came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Spurr FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anibal Bernad couldn't finish the play. Delmar Matai might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amerigo Staniscia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmar Matai ran back to his position shaking his head. 69 minutes into the match, Lino Soter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Korneliusz Zdeb. Spurr FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lino Soter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Desiderio Indalecio charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Desiderio Indalecio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Spurr FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Desiderio Indalecio hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Henrik Lundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korneliusz Zdeb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 minutes of play, Gualeguaychú FC's Valentin Osorio made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Korneliusz Zdeb was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gualeguaychú FC's Mario Txema was substituted for Froilan Geofredo. Arnulfo Janpier scored 4-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Korneliusz Zdeb, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Spurr FC's Eduardo Duarte got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, Eduardo Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Spurr FC's Korneliusz Zdeb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Janpier in the 93rd minute of play.
