The referee ignored Mapaches Aulladores's protests and gave Alberto Ourente a yellow card for diving instead. 15 minutes into the match, Argentino de Buenos Aires's Gonzalo Marcones sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomás Posam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Billie Serneels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Toli in the 19th minute of play. Tomás Posam was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Samuel Hitz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Samuel Hitz really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After a rather tough play, Mapaches Aulladores's Atilano Loramendi got a free kick in the 37th minute. When the match had been going on for 38 minutes Aureliano Domiku shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Tomás Posam when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. After having played for 40 minutes, Haroldo Toli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mapaches Aulladores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Toli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 42 minutes, Gaspar Gomez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mapaches Aulladores and the Argentino de Buenos Aires players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Gaspar Gomez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 43 minutes, Donato Otoniel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argentino de Buenos Aires's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Otoniel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

53 minutes into the match, Mapaches Aulladores's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Otoniel came free, but Tomás Posam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristobal Chano in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Billie Serneels prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Mapaches Aulladores getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Alvar Hobune hit a great ball. Argentino de Buenos Aires made a substitution. Eloy Goren replaced Tomas Pagomari. In the 70th minute Aureliano Domiku shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Posam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Hitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Posam having to interfere.
