Rescate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Estevon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the game, Rescate's Enrique Gartzea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leandro Rito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Fausto Estevon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Rito having to interfere. When Joaquin Munio fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rescate's protests and gave Joaquin Munio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Joaquin Munio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
