Hernan Quiroga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th match minute, Deportivo Diamante U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Firme to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Victor Valiente made a precise shot to the right of Hernan Quiroga. Rivercito FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Hernan Quiroga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Maiorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Conrado Maiorga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hernan Quiroga was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Rivercito FC defense, Conrado Maiorga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernan Quiroga. With a left leg Hernan Quiroga saved Rivercito FC from getting behind. Deportivo Diamante U18's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lino Igon in the 38th minute. If Conrado Maiorga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernan Quiroga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado Maiorga went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Rivercito FC's Arturo Ortle got a free kick in the 46th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Conrado Maiorga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Diamante U18's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Maiorga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernan Quiroga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Rivercito FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo Diamante U18 were winning 0-7.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oscar Frans to make the kick off. Victor Valiente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 53 minutes into the game, Deportivo Diamante U18's Conrado Maiorga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hernan Quiroga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Maiorga got free with Hernan Quiroga in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emiliano Maxin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Hernan Quiroga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Conrado Maiorga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hernan Quiroga was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the game, Conrado Maiorga lined in a short shot 0-10 behind a frustrated Hernan Quiroga. Hernan Quiroga came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Diamante U18's Conrado Maiorga. But to his dismay, Conrado Maiorga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. Conrado Maiorga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Hernan Quiroga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Rivercito FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo Diamante U18 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
