Segundo Santiago started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, La Partuza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Nahia to maneuver through the defense. Hernan Quin kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Felix Silban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Santiago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Clemente Bertin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Neto struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Felix Silban didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Partuza FC. La Partuza FC's Ernesto Oxarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Lop in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Tiburcio Abaunza fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. La Partuza FC's Segundo Santiago got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clemente Bertin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 34 minutes, Tiburcio Abaunza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diego Armando FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiburcio Abaunza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernesto Oxarra stood somewhat misplaced when Gabriel Lop came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 38 minute. If Tiburcio Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Segundo Santiago was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, La Partuza FC's Segundo Santiago got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Lop was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Gabriel Lop left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diego Armando FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Maximiliano Cerilo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Luis Neto hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Ernesto Oxarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Lop, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Luis Neto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Silban. Diego Armando FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Neto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Luis Neto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Felix Silban made a huge save. In the 73rd minute Gabriel Lop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Oxarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Neto got free with Felix Silban in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Gabriel Lop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to La Partuza FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Teofilo Salvino hit a great ball. Ernesto Oxarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Lop in the 94th minute of the match. Diego Armando FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
