Lázaro Guifre was a little too slow when Genaro Monico got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Abelardo Munio fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sportivo Villa Minetti's protests and gave Abelardo Munio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Abelardo Munio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 minutes of play, Sportivo Villa Minetti's Eugenio Benat made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnulfo Semeno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sportivo Villa Minetti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Jeremias Iruinea scored to the left of an out of position Lázaro Guifre, making the score, 2-1. Jeremias Iruinea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Lázaro Guifre made a huge save. In the 37th minute Eugenio Benat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Semeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Iruinea kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Eugenio Benat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Semeno having to interfere. Nemesio Gaizko kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Genaro Monico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Lázaro Guifre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Lázaro Guifre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amado Oier's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Sportivo Villa Minetti's Eugenio Benat got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Eugenio Benat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ambrosio Michael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jeremias Iruinea fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Sportivo Villa Minetti's Lázaro Guifre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Oier in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Villa Minetti's Nemesio Gaizko got a free kick in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Villa Minetti's zone, Genaro Monico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Guifre came out of the goal and Genaro Monico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eugenio Benat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lázaro Guifre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Monico, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Eugenio Benat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Semeno having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Malargüe's zone, Ambrosio Michael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Semeno came out of the goal and Ambrosio Michael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Malargüe had played much better football throughout.
