A collision led to Lírico de Buenos Aires getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Amador Precioso hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lírico de Buenos Aires's zone, Genaro Monico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Cordearo came out of the goal and Genaro Monico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeremias Iruinea struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Gervasio Cordearo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malargüe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Iruinea in the 24th minute of play forced Lírico de Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Gervasio Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Oier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carmelo Nabar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Arnulfo Semeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Nabar in the 32nd minute of play forced Malargüe's goalkeeper Arnulfo Semeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Lírico de Buenos Aires's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Monico came free, but Gervasio Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gervasio Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Oier, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Gervasio Cordearo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amado Oier went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Amador Precioso kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Genaro Monico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Lírico de Buenos Aires getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ildefonso Eutor hit a great ball. After 44 minutes of play, Malargüe's Genaro Monico made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gervasio Cordearo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 51 played minutes Lírico de Buenos Aires got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Guilabertus. If Amado Oier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes Malargüe got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Peruxu. Arnulfo Semeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Nabar, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Amado Oier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Cordearo having to interfere. If Carmelo Nabar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amado Oiers short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Gervasio Cordearo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Genaro Monico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Lírico de Buenos Aires's Gregorio Rufio got a free kick in the 70th minute. Gervasio Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Monico, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Malargüe's Jeremias Iruinea got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Genaro Monico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malargüe's supporters rose to their feet, but Genaro Monico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gervasio Cordearo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute Jeremias Iruinea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lírico de Buenos Aires getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ildefonso Eutor hit a great ball. Genaro Monico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amador Precioso kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Lírico de Buenos Aires's Gervasio Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Monico in the 85th minute of play. Genaro Monico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Gervasio Cordearo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amado Oier got free with Gervasio Cordearo in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th match minute, Lírico de Buenos Aires was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Mercurio to maneuver through the defense. The Lírico de Buenos Aires fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Malargüe were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
